ORDER

1.Smt.T.S.Grancy, 'Krishna Mangalam' Mannamthala.P.O, Thiruvananthapuram advised for appointment as Section Officer Under Special recruitment exclusively from scheduled Tribe community as per letter 2nd read above is appointed as Section Officer, Law Department on Rs.6500-1055- in Law Department, Government Secretariat subject to Rule 3 (c) of the General Rules for the Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules 1958.

2. Her appointment is subject to the condition that the same will be liable to be terminated without prior notice if the Government is not satisfied with her character and antecedents on subsequent verification. She shall be eligible for appointment in regular service in accordance with the rules only if her character and antecedents are found satisfactory.

3. Her appointment is also subject to the following conditions.

(i)

She will be given training for a period of six months. The period of training will not be counted as regular service and also that period will not count for probation. From the date of completion of the training, she will be on probation for a period of two years on actual duty within a continuous period of three years. During the period of training she will be given the minimum of the pay attached to the post plus the usual allowances.

(ii)

During the period of probation she will have to pass the Adhoc Test for Legal Assistant, if she has not already passed the Bar Council Examination and also the Secretariat Manual Test. Failure to pass these tests during the period of probation will entail termination of probation unless such probation is extended as provided in Rule (2) of the General Rules for the state and subordinate Services.

(iii)

During the period of probation she will be allowed increment as provided in rule 37-B (b) (i) of Part-I Keral service Rules.

4.  Smt.T.S.Grancy is directed to report for duty before the Under Secretary (Administration), Law Department, Government Secretariat within 15 days of receipt of this order with necessary certificates in original to prove age, qualification, medical fitness and caste/community. She is also directed to bring the enclosed Performa duly filled in at the time of joining duty.

5.  Suitable training programme for the training of Smt.T.S.Grancy will be prepared by Law Department on her joining duty.
